B, you totally weren't paying attention. Cindy made $300,000 or something a year, and wanted to marry Doug so she could save $3,000 on HER taxes. Making the Student a total male gold digger, and therefore a more fitting object of ridicule (or admiration).
Eh, whatever. That's not what the slide said. I clearly remember Cindy having an income of 0 and Doug raking in dough. You can't expect me to read AND listen carefully.
